Site Disclosure Statement
CERLAS Institute was established by the Head of the Laboratory, whose innovative and progressive ideas[1] have been the cornerstone of the Institute. As a result of his being also the founder and main driving force in other (for profit) entities, a separation of commercial benefits from the interests of the Institute was warranted. All of his developments and intellectual property have either been assigned to the public domain or an independent Trust, where he has no beneficiary status. However, when the Institute promotes ideas and other advances for the benefit of the individuals and the public at large, such affecting the population at large health and well being, or durability of humanity, the Institute will connect any outside interests (commercial, governing bodies, research institutions, monetary funds, or independent scientific or technological interests) with the Trust that is the legal owner of the intellectual property for such products and interests.
